One success story here in Michigan is the Michigan ethanol plant in Caro, in which 40% of the corn grown in the Thumb goes to the ethanol plant in that community. When that plant was built in 2002 it created 41 new jobs and provided approximately 60 million dollars in new local spending. If that's not job creation, I don't know what is.
